Wish List
We distribute so much food that our shelves always need replenishing, but these items are currently our greatest need:
- Canned meats (always our #1 need)
- Vegetable oil
- Ketchup
- Jams and jellies (especially non-grape)
- Progresso chicken soup (we have plenty of other kinds of soups — especially vegetable — but hearty chicken is always the favorite)
Please check dates! The Health Dept. does not allow us to put expired food on our shelves.
Additionally, personal care items, which cannot be purchased with food stamps, are always in high demand:
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Toothpaste and Toothbrushes
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Shaving cream
- Feminine care
Thank you for your generous support!

To the Outreach Committee members of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church who helped us stay open in July and August by sending volunteers to pick up donations at Roche Bros. and restock shelves on Mondays, and pick up bread at Roche Bros. and make client deliveries on Tuesdays. This is the third consecutive summer that the pantry has been able to remain open, and we rely heavily on the Hills Church volunteers, organized by John Worrall, to do so.
